Galvanic Gets a Global Signal Boost from Jairo Duarte

A picture of a man in a baseball hat and glasses

Some shares feel like seismic shifts. I’m honored to announce that The Surrender was featured in an Instagram Story by Jairo Duarte, a Venezuelan influencer and music curator with over 400,000 followers across his digital platforms.

Jairo’s response to the track was deeply affirming:

“Your work has convinced me because I find it quite original. The intro with those guitars is spectacular. I was impressed by the vocal performance, and the lyrics are direct, with no wasted words.”

He went on to say:

“I have decided to share your work through the Stories on my digital platforms, so my audience will internationally get to know what you do. Keep going, you have a bright future.”

That kind of endorsement—from someone who curates with care and reaches a massive international audience—is a milestone. It’s not just exposure; it’s validation from someone who listens with intent and shares with purpose.

Jairo’s platform is known for spotlighting artists who bring originality, emotional clarity, and sonic impact. I’m grateful that The Surrender resonated with him, and even more grateful that he chose to amplify it.

"The Surrender” Finds a Home in Mexico’s Indie Underground

A black and white rabbit wearing a hat

There’s something electric about hearing your song played on air—especially when it’s by someone who listens to over 500 albums a year and still finds yours worth sharing.

My track “The Surrender” was recently featured on Lado D 408, a music podcast hosted by Dengue, editor for DNA Magazine and radio voice at Bullterrier FM. The episode aired on Spreaker, and The Surrender plays just after the 32-minute mark—a moment that felt like crossing a threshold into a wider sonic world.

But Dengue didn’t stop there. He also added The Surrender to his Spotify playlist, a rotating showcase of independent releases that span genres, eras, and emotional textures.

What makes this share meaningful is Dengue’s ethos: “All the music I haven’t heard yet is new music.” He’s not chasing trends—he’s chasing resonance. His platform, Lado D, is a haven for the unheard, the experimental, and the emotionally raw. That’s exactly where The Surrender belongs.

For independent artists like me, these moments matter. They’re not just exposure—they’re affirmation. They say: Your sound has a place in the global conversation.

Gracias, Dengue. Onward.

No persigue tendencias—persigue resonancia. Justo ahí pertenece The Surrender.

Gracias, Dengue. Adelante.

Galvanic Lights Up Red Rock Magazine’s Playlists

The word Thriller in red text on a black background

I’m excited to share that The Surrender has just been added to Saturday Night Pulse, a playlist curated by Red Rock Magazine—a platform that celebrates high-impact, emotionally charged music with cinematic flair.

This marks the second time Red Rock has featured my work. Truth or Dare was previously included in their Thriller playlist, a moody, pulse-driven collection of tracks that blur the line between drama and rhythm.

Thanks to Red Rock for the continued support and for amplifying the energy behind these songs. Long live the pulse.

Galvanic Featured on Rock and Birra: Duality Goes Global

I’m excited to share that I was recently featured on Rock and Birra, a music site that celebrates independent artists and genre-defying sounds. The article dives into my latest release Duality, which pairs two very different tracks—The Surrender and Cyberpunk Junkie—to reflect the full spectrum of my sonic identity.

As many of you know, I started out as a rock and blues guitarist. But over time, I felt confined by genre labels. I wanted to explore music as a form of emotional honesty, not just stylistic allegiance. That’s where Galvanic was born—a name, a mask, and a mindset that lets me fuse cinematic synthscapes, darkwave grit, and raw storytelling.

The Surrender is a slow, atmospheric meditation on time—echoes of Pink Floyd and Phil Collins drift through its layers. Cyberpunk Junkie, on the other hand, is a full-throttle darkwave banger: neon-soaked, distorted, and unapologetically synthetic. Together, they form Duality—a sonic mirror of reflection and rebellion.

The Rock and Birra feature captures that tension beautifully. It’s always an honor to see my work resonate beyond borders, and I’m grateful for the support.

If you haven’t read the article yet, I’ll be posting the link shortly. And if you haven’t heard Duality, both tracks are streaming now on all major platforms.

Thanks for listening—and for walking this genre-bending path with me.

— Ryan T. James (Galvanic)

Galvanic’s “The Surrender” Featured on Rock Culture

I’m thrilled to share that The Surrender, one half of my latest release Duality, was recently featured on the Spanish music site Rock Culture.

This recognition means a lot—especially as The Surrender explores the passage of time through cinematic textures, emotional weight, and echoes of Pink Floyd and Phil Collins. It’s a track that invites reflection and interpretation, and I’m honored it resonated with curators beyond borders.

Rock Culture included it in their October 2025 roundup of standout releases, alongside other genre-defying artists.

If you haven’t heard The Surrender yet, it’s streaming now on all platforms. And if you want to experience the full sonic mirror, check out its companion track Cyberpunk Junkie—a darkwave banger that completes the Duality.

Thanks for listening, and thanks to Rock Culture for the support.
